From Asian sunrise to Oxford afternoons.

Between the chicken soup and wafer fingers.

Since birth, death and rebirth and all over again,

Darjeeling has kissed the mouths of millions

In every corner of the world.

You see her in supermarkets.

You can spot her bags in the cafeteria.

Catch her online and in the groceries,

And she will be your friend.

Descended from the royal gardens of China.

Raised by the nourishing mountains of India.

Guided by the soothing Himalayan air.

Courted by French grapes and the toy train.

Princess Darjeeling

The sweet champagne of teas

As divine as summer wine.

This is what the happy valley tastes like;

Blooming hues and the delicate grapefruit flush.

Wiseman says, "avoid the milky scandal."
