Dandelion Wishes

Carried listlessly through

the breeze.

Or mowed down.

Dandelion wishes to children

curses and nuisances to adults

banished by poisonous potions

dispensed by a wand.

Dandelion chains

childhood fun, with

small suns.

A weed

spotting manicured lawns

they don’t belong.
