I Was Born A Renegade

I Felt Alone Each Birthday,

Lost In The World,

I Was Guided By The Wind…

I Longed For Sympathy, But

Somehow It Seems That I Was,

Crying In The Rain…

I Was Sequestered By People,

I Wish Someone Would’ve Told Me,

Not To Try And Please Them…

I Struggled To Make Relationships Work,

With Family, Friends, And Boyfriends…

One day,

I Saw My Reflection In a Puddle,

And I Vowed To Never Give Up,

My Dreams Belong To Me,

If I Want To Succeed

It Starts With Me!

I Became Camouflage So That No One Could See My Pain,

So I Began,

Crying In The Rain.
