Spring has sprung, flowers are blooming

The grass is greener than before

Wildflowers are mixed with the grass

It’s time to go fly kites

Temperatures are mild; the sun shines

The field is calling us now

**

It’s time for a real picnic

So, let’s spread out the blanket

It’s time to enjoy the outdoors

So come out and join me

In the fresh air of outside

And we will admire the wildflowers

**

We will run through the field

Chasing each other’s dreams and fantasies

Then we’ll lay on the blanket

To discuss our future life together

We’ll lay there till the sunset

Then we’ll watch the stars shine

**

Wildflower crown on your fair head

Wildflower chains around wrist and neck

You are the fairest flower out

Watching you bloom is my desire

Your fragile beauty has no comparison

Your pink cheeks power my heart

**

Out in the countryside’s fresh air

Enjoying each others loving and company

I’ll pick you a flower bouquet

Then we’ll watch the clouds pass

We are at peace with ourselves

Your company is what I crave

**

In the outdoors where we roam

We can be free to be

What we were meant to be

Friends forever and lovers to the grave

No one can take this peace

We are the ones that matter

This was sooo wonderful and optimistic! It's been so long since your last 6W6L so I was very excited to read this and I loved that you added 6S to it for the 6 stanzas!

  • Somewhere I hear Julie Andrews as Guinevere singing, "It's May! It's May! The lusty month of May!"
