Cosmic

soulmates

By Elizabeth PreePublished 3 years ago 1 min read

the slip slide of skin

meeting skin

a mish mash

connection of

something made

of starlight

the crash of

stars or

even atoms

the beginnings

of ends and

brand new beginnings

little shifts

in mind frame

and space time

and all the ways

the world

spreads out

in lines and waves

and multitudes of

new ideas

fashioned from

ancient understanding

and soul connect

a rival for the ways

of scientific senses

a reach or breach

beyond elements

and through to

something more

or less

or wholesome constants

ever changing

mirrored back

and forth and again

reflection of truth

and consequence

more forged and

ever moving

than the plates of earth

and mountains high

and seas before

epic to the core

of it and

more

cosmic so told

or easy like

a smile

it has no end to see

this universal safehouse

bubble bursting

to hold and keep

and let out

to see the semi sonic

convergence

and wait wait wait

for the explosion

the world has waited for

or wrap tight

shudder shake and keep

to hold

in fear or death

or life or more

but it's too much

and good and potential

and like a mirror

too, could shatter

pick up the pieces

if it will

and build anew upon

foundations

strengthened

and upwards, outwards

convince the expanses

of doubters

that reality

can be as

solid good daydream mystical

as all the

wishes upon stars

surreal poetry
