Confliction

.

By CotardDelusionzPublished about a year ago • 2 min read

I don't know what to do

I feel like no matter what I do

I will lose you

I'm probably supposed to

But for some reason

I can't let go

Because

I do want to talk to you

I do want to watch a movie with you

I do want to walk with you

I do want to laugh with you

I do want to cry with you

I do want you

I do want to peel that orange for you

But I don't want to be too much for you

So I try to let you go

I try not to talk to you

I hold back all the things I wanna tell you

All the things I wanna do with you

No

I'm changing

I will no longer try to push things

I will no longer give the energy

That I'm not getting

If you ignore me I will ignore you

If you don't reach out I will not try to reach you

I will be less of me

Because I don't want to give anymore

I will let us drift away

I will let everything become another memory

No

I don't want to lose you

I don't care if I'm in a trance

Let me dance in front of you

I don't know what I'm doing but at least I'm still moving

I don't mind you laughing at me

I like how you're looking at me smiling

Everyday I will reach out to you

It takes too much not to

I want you to grab a hold of me

When you feel like crying

I want you to have me when you feel like laughing

Let's hold each other's hands

And run in circles

For as long as we can

I just hope you hold on as hard as I do

Before the inertia rips us apart

And we slip away

Dizzy

Stumbling in two different directions

Trying to find something to hold onto once again

Maybe we fall back into each other's arms

Or

Maybe we both fall separately on the ground

No

Wait

I mean

I don't know

I don't know what to do
