Concussions

A Venting Poem

I'm so goddamn sick of it...

Seizures that are debilitating,

pain that is unbearable,

and possible concussions.

*

I want to feel normal...

The headaches are awful,

drowsiness ruining my day,

and having no escape from the terrible pain.

* * *

I know it's short, I shouldn't even be looking at screens because of getting a possible concussion five hours ago but I needed to vent because it happens far too often, thanks to all my seizures on hard surfaces. If the symptoms aren't any better by the time my mom gets home tomorrow (since they happen after most seizures) I'm going to the doctor or urgent care tomorrow. I have a plan for how I'm going to handle it depending on how I feel in the morning.
