Color Blind

Poetry

Colors are bright.

Colors are shiny.

But with all our might,

They make us all whiny.

What if we all were color blind?

Would then our hearts be more affined?

Selfish, Ego, Righteous, Monster.

Fake sincerity, Real Impostor.

Race, Religion, Sex & Gender.

Equality, lies, just a pretender.

No compassion or empathy,

And regrettably NO sympathy.

Human Kind?

Human Being?

So ill-defined.

And disagreeing.

Only hatred will provoke.

Souls of anger up in smoke.

Fear & Pride,

And Angels cried.

Endless road of pain.

Nothing more we can gain.

Lingering questions burn.

Knowledge left to discern.
