Codependency
A tale of love and devastation
They say that love bares all things
But how do we go on
When love is what we cannot bare
When our smiles mask the pain
And lies permeate the air
Pulling each other down
Hearts burst under the pressure
We hold tight
Gripping one another for dear life
Dragging each other down
Into the depths
Sinking
Lower still
We crash upon the rocky bottom
Black water oozing around us
Blinding us
The weeds of uncertainty creep out of the darkness
Ensnaring us in a wicked web
Here in the darkness we sit
Together and utterly alone
We hit rock bottom
Drowning
Together
