Ima pour nothing but coconut oil over my life

Ima listen to Erykah Badu and get my soul right

Ima vibe to Jill Scott and find that sensuality again

Nothing but movies with black actors, black directors, black writers

Ima get that culture back

Ima swim all in that culture

let my skin soak it up like the sun

Get golden brown, tanned type blackness

Ima let these curls get kinkier

Ima quiet these doubts

Ima assassinate the insecurities

Let the God in me shine through

She gone be proud

She gone glow bright

She gone scare those fake friends away

They'll gossip around empty bottles of wine

wondering why their skin takes on a green hue when I'm around

She gone correct my posture

and make me stand tall in front of these oppressors

Ima get our kingdom back

Ima give them 40 acres

and take everything else

Ima be free

Ima have a pride of children

And they'll be free

Ima turn Scars into Mufasa's

And they'll be free

Ima return the crown to black women

And they'll be free

Ima keep pushin

Ima be fearless

Ima be ruthless

Ima be Queen

Ima be all my ancestors

Im a warrior

I wont fail
