Looking down from the clouds above

I can feel the gentle, rolling hills flowing below

The beauty of the scene lying all around

The peaceful blue sky holds it all together

The calmness of the air drowns out the storms

Life is chaos but comfort is found in the clouds

Holding the world together; a bow on top of a present

The final piece missing from a puzzle we try to put together

The unexplainable mystery of the floating beauty

We try to comprehend but are falling far below the throne of the sky

The joy that must be felt by the birds that can fly

Soaring in a way that can taunt the clouds as they float by

The smile of the sun as it shines through the fluffy cotton candy

What it must feel as it radiates its way down to your face

The refractions of light through the misty sky

Nothing seems as right as a cloud high in the night
