Celebrating Single Dads

On Mother's Day we take the time,

To celebrate those who shine.

Not just moms, but dads too,

Who does all that moms can do.

Single dads who work so hard,

To fill the roles of mom and dad.

They cook, they clean, they kiss our boo-boos,

And they do it all without any ado.

They're our heroes, our rocks, our guides,

And they do it all with love and pride.

They're always there to lend a hand,

And help us up when we can't stand.

But let's not forget the funny side,

Of single dads who take it all in stride.

They make us laugh with silly jokes,

And tickle us until we almost choke.

They dance around in silly hats,

And make us giggle like little cats.

They're the best at playing pretend,

And their love for us will never end.

So here's to single dads on Mother's Day,
