Call to the Apocalypse
a dying world where the sky is red and the air is black.
She's lying on the bed, gasping fro air
On the same bed her mother was on the other day
But sadly her mom passed away yesterday just like her baby this morning
She can't see her kids right now 'cause she doesn't want to kill them
She hopes they're safe with their cousins
Thank god for the pandemic, they're as close as they'll ever be to god and to their family
But don't call it a pandemic, call it the apocalypse
Because this is a catastrophe, one that could've been avoided
But they were so busy lining their pockets
They were so busy talking politics
They didn't see that we needed oxygen not bribes
They didn't know that we had to survive to give them votes
I won't be surprised if god was laughing at us
We deserve it, we were so blind that we didn't mind being suffocated
The country's burning and the poor go down with it
Or their bodies burn while their families watch from a distance
'Cause it's too overcrowded to let anyone in
If there's space there's a body burning
Your life ends with suffering and you don't get a dignified death
This is the apocalypse, there's fire everywhere, people die, children cry
And there's no cure in sight, if you wanna survive you have to fight and make sure you've got might
'Cause people are selfish, this is not the first time and this won't be the last
Get inside, close your doors, stay put until it's safe
Or don't give a shit about yourself or the people you claim to love
You could've waited just for a day, watch that movie from home
But when have we ever stopped caring for people who come on that big screen,
They spew bullshit and you sit there and watch, nodding like sheep
So don't be surprised when you see your wife fighting for her life
You did this to her, now watch her die as your soul crumbles
You could've stopped this but chose not to so please, don't cry.
