The life of Littlefoot in Verse

A brontosaurus, brave and true, survived

Throughout the wildest forests in the world.

He didn't bother creatures who'd arrived;

Instead, he'd share the seeds and ferns unfurled.

~

His neck so tall - he didn't touch the trees

Instead, he'd graze the greens along the ground.

He stood much taller munching on those leaves

While keeping watch of Rexes all around.

~

A lonely fellow Bront was meant to be.

He loved to stay where hills were tall and wet.

His whip-like tail would make the others flee

Then all the precious food was his to get.

~

The famous Bront named Littlefoot was doomed,

But finally found his family unconsumed.

    Fun and uplifting! I'm glad to see another of these in sonnet form; it just seems to suit the dino theme, somehow. Nicely done, Barb!
