And I had to realize with a stark,
Sickening horror
That you were unkind
You liked my attention
You liked that I
Kept your ego fed
You had fixed it
It had been done away with quietly
But then you put the mess you were
And probably still are
Into daylight
And you took me from you

It was nothing about me
I walked away because of you

What you did
What you made me go through with you

This made me think of a certain narcissistic gaslighter I had in my life. Very beautifully written poem. I loved it!
