Bright shoots, vulnerable roots

Yellow sunflower dreaming

By Tiahni AdamsonPublished 3 years ago 1 min read

From a tiny seed sprouts new divinity.

Strengthening herself to break through the capsule of life and awaken into her new form of being.

A sprout emerges and seeks light toward the surface of the soil, while small roots begin to extend and wind their blissful way to connect to the Earth and build the foundations of her emergent life.

As the sprout shoots upward, stems strengthen and extend, leaves and shoots form, and a new sense of growth and connectedness is made.

Through storms, wind, rain, heat, drought and flood - she depends on her strong foundations and ability to hold true through her roots to get her by.

She is not bothered by the dropping of her leaves or wilting of her body in times of trauma.

She just roots down and strengthens within.

When the sun shines down on her glorious skin and she is nourished and ready, a flower delicately opens from an innocent shoot, turning her face toward the smiling sun and opening in vulnerability - while living her ultimate truth.

She shines brightly and connects with other beings, gently opening and closing, rising and falling at the sun and winds sweet mercy.

When the time comes, the flower drops her delicate petals and withers and shrivels her body away - leaving water and nutrients for the emergence of her future generations and self to grow and thrive on.

Her body tires and lies gently in the soil - decomposing back into the Earth; only to nourish and nurture the delicate life to come after her.
