Breathe

Reflection of the Past

The lungs feel like smoke is filling them and it’s hard to intake air.

The body shakes like a brittle leaf against a harsh wind.

The mind is running a marathon at full speed.

The heart is creating a new rock beat right inside the ears.

Anxiety races through the body at a race car speed and crashes into every rational sense.

Depression leads an agonizingly slow march across the mind to take all and conquer.

Anger is like a wave a fire as it goes through the body.

There is no escaping the emotional rampage that is felt deep within the core of a person.

Reality can sometimes be like an ice bath, shocking and paralyzing.

Sometimes life is not at all what it is meant to be.

Situations happen like bomb going off, quick yet effective.

Sometimes it feels like trying to home in a hurricane that is ravaging inside a person.

Some people loose hope at news that devastates them so badly.

Others go on rampages through their homes.

Most deal with the unbearable march that depression trespasses with.

Anxiety rushes through a person and leaves them in a state of constant panic.

Like demons in the night, all of these can go through a person at once.

None of it takes their time or waits for a turn.

It’s a cataclysm of simultaneous breeches that takes toll on the mind and body.

Sometimes it is so unbearable that few try to push a reset button.

There are points in life where we are all devastated.

Crushed to the point of no return.

Breathe my dear friend.

Everything that we go through is a process.

There will be a point where the pain will start to subside.

There will be happiness again.

Yes, the road is long and arduous.

But the deeper you breathe, the better you try to cleanse yourself of the negative emotions that run rampant in you, the better of a chance that you will come through the other side alright.

Please.

Don’t forget to breathe as you move forward.

No one wants the worst of fears.

To press reset because they forgot how to breathe.
