Have you ever asked yourself...
Why is everyone content with the status quo?
Most of us are fully aware that it only works for a silent majority.
Usually when people say they don't know nor do they understand something, it's because they choose not to.
More people are comfortable within their own ignorance today than it seems like ever before.
It's understandable though.
Growth is scary,
Change is scary,
EVOLUTION IS SCARY.
Even the thought of it is intimidating for most but are you aware of another word than is a thousand times more frightening?
STAGNATION.
Remaining stagnant in any situation feels like quicksand slowly pulling you within the earth while you are still breathing.
Only to those who choose to grow out.
I know what you're thinking...what the hell does growing out mean and isn't the proper term growing up?
That maybe the case in most instances but let's dissect that term for a moment.
It raised a brow, made a light bulb go off.
A term picked up from global thought leader 19 Keys.
Growing up seems so physical and more like change than evolving which isn't a bad thing but it just feels limited.
Growing out is more fitting based on the context.
Shedding your former self, rising above, and leaving behind habits that no longer serve you.
