My delusions are shattering
I can see my world melting
The floor is sinking
Pulling me
The walls are crumbling
Over me
No more pretending
To be something
As I sink
I look above
To see my love
Her wings beyond my reach
Just as it should be
Because I am bleak
I will only make her bleed
As I'm buried
I hope she realizes she has them
And flies far away from this place
Beyond the dirt and ash
Where the bleak burn and scream
For eternity.
