Bike Adventure

E9

By James GreenPublished 8 months ago 1 min read

Walking down an alley, what did I see?

A man on a bike.

Happy as I can be.

Not riding, as he should, but on the ground.

Strange. I thought. Down on the ground?

"Do you need any help?" I spoke out loud.

"No, thank you, I'm fine; this isn't what I needed." The man on the ground with the bike conceited.

"It's no trouble at all. Here, take my hand." I gestured to the bike man to help him stand.

"No, really, I'm fine. Look how strong I am!" He stood up on his own as if life was grand.

With a wave goodbye, I wished him well. He waved back in the distance, and then he fell.
