Bella Luna

A story of love

Bella Luna

I’ve walked a thousand miles

to cross your worn bumpy path.

I’ve seen your naked body,

bruised and torn

from the lies of life.

And I’ve loved you.

I’ve heard a thousand words

unsaid by your happy past.

I’ve listened to your breath,

calm and hale,

the strength of your truth.

And I’ve loved you.

Thoughts

and dreams,

beauty

and peace -

and without fail,

I’ve enjoyed you.

I’ve waited a thousand moments

as if they were only one.

I’ve felt your hopes and pains

ebb and flow,

the crushing tide of life.

And I’ve loved you.
