the words crawled like worms

from beneath my finger nails

the letters on the keyboard

knew they were depressed

I was out in the south east earlier this afternoon. A sprawling nowhere of the newest suburbs that are (encroaching on) getting to know the old acreages and slowly dwindling farmlands. A calf and its mother lay nose to tail as the wind sheared rain beat about them. The weather continued to bluster and arse about as it does in this part of my world.

i think i have a naked soul

and yet i've yet to be impressed

even when i’m fully clothed

i still feel half undressed

No, I don't like that song and I don't like Crowded House.

in the throes of being.

mistakenly garbed

intermittently barbed

incrementally halved

anyway...

pixels formed letters

the cursor flashed

letters formed words

the cursor flashed

words formed sentences

falling in in an awkward

F Troop muster kind of way

non sequential nonsense

and a real piece

of today

the cursor flashed

lines are cut and pasted

there is the occasional Shift Delete

everything else

out from under the nails

Ctrl C

Ctrl V

repeat

(couldn't find a song about baby cows)
