Doors slam in the distance
In the wake of imaginary monsters.
She screams in silence,
Trusting in the hope of tomorrow.
Reality is a stranger to her—
A figment of a thousand yesterdays,
Concealed in the aftermath of chaos.
The torment of today
Is inevitable and immense.
Only hope remains—a fantasy of its own.
Nothing else matters.
