Autumn Moments

November, 4th 2013

Foliage, decaying,

But not yet dead

As our memories fade

Though not yet gone

This time, we cherish,

Surrounded by the forest,

But trees prevent us

From viewing it all

Stop, to breathe,

Soak it up, let it in,

Move, again,

Mean something

Every moment is here

All at once, we perceive the time

That separates

Past, present, and future

So know, and feel,

All around you is within as well,

Every Autumn Moment

Is wise in its own right

The Spring Birth

Led to those Summer Days,

And after these Autumn Moments,

Winter Slumber shall clutch us tight
