Atropine

Poem

By Desmond RazzanoPublished 2 years ago 1 min read

Baby I’m hurting, help me, be my lidocaine, benzocaine, medicaine, your touch feels just like it’s novacane, cocaine, propane, drug me ‘til there’s no pain, none!

Baby I’m still breathing, kill me like you’re pavulon, organon, norcuron, with a needle filled with zemuron, mivacron, kloricon, I see darkness when the light is gone, no sun!

Sleep induced from dramamine, hydramine, morphine, so depressed without your sertraline, ketamine, diazepine, hydroxyzine, fill me with your atropine now!

My stomach’s full of codeine, let me die just when I wanna.

My mouth is foaming opioids and lungs are lined with marijuana.

Midazolam, alprazolam, potassium to chloride.

Pento, secobarbital, vecuronium, and bromide.

I’m in withdrawal, but you’re my methadone.

My heart’s on fire, but you’re my alkaline, inject me sweetly with your ethylene!

All this tetrodotoxin, batrachotoxin, amatoxin but you’re the one who’s killing me.

I’m drinking water with cyanide, alkalide, hydroxide but only you are filling me.

Babe, you make me loose inside, choose a side, death and cide, high on life addicted the suicide, I do inside, I lucidize, I had one devil but now there’s more than two inside, surprise!

Babe, your neurotoxin tastes just like ammonium, polonium, thick as petroleum.

Please end me, burned alive with kerosene, gasoline, acetylene, saved my life, your atropine, no lies!

It turned me on when cupid shot your arrow in.

Directly through my chest, it really pierced my marrow in.

I don’t want more help, ‘cause all I need’s your heroine.

All four walls enclose me, as my vision starts to narrow in black.

Baby, feed me more promethazine, quetiapine, absinthin, awaken me, adrenaline, I’m feining for your atropine back!
