Assuming You Fail to remember Me:

I believe you should be aware

a certain something.

You know how this is:

assuming I look

at the gem moon, at the red branch

of the sluggish harvest time at my window,

assuming I contact

close to the fire

the intangible debris

or on the other hand the badly crumpled body of the log,

everything conveys me to you,

as though all that exists,

smells, light, metals,

were little boats

that sail

toward those isles of yours that sit tight for me.

Indeed, presently,

assuming gradually you quit cherishing me

I will quit adoring you by little.

If unexpectedly

you fail to remember me

try not to search for me,

for I will as of now have failed to remember you.

Assuming you think it long and frantic,

the breeze of pennants

that goes through my life,

what's more, you choose

to leave me at the shore

of the heart where I have roots,

recall

that on that day,

at that hour,

I will lift my arms

also, my foundations will set off

to look for another land.

However

in the event that every day,

every hour,

you feel that you are bound for me

with unyielding pleasantness,

if every day a bloom

ascends to your lips to look for me,

ok my affection, ah my own,

in me everything that fire is rehashed,

in me nothing is stifled or neglected,

my adoration benefits from your affection, darling,

furthermore, as long as you live it will be in your arms

without leaving mine.
