How innocence disappears...

As my childhood is slowly leaving me

I want to ask something before it flee

Have I become what you always wanted to be?

Someone you would tell all the secrets to

And run towards when you can't find a way through

I clutched onto it with tearful eyes

My childhood said there will be many painful byes.

Just for a moment I asked it to stay

For the last time we can giggle and play

It said last moments also forever never lasts

It becomes a part of who you were , your past

And after all I had to leave

But you are here , some more dreams left to weave

As my childhood took some steps steep

For an inch of a second it stopped

In a minute of few puffs locked

It scooped out a piece of itself and placed it on my palm

Keep it with you and attach it like a charm

In your loud laughs ,shy eyes

in your nose scrunches and pink skies

I'll be hidden

And yes, you are all that I wanted to be.

Said my childhood slowly leaving me.
