Around the corner

We never know, what’s around the corner,

Or control the past, can we reorder,

The only thing, that we can do,

Is focus on now, and just be you,

We often stress, about the past,

And these dark thoughts, shadows they cast,

Or worry about, what hasn’t yet happened,

Where all sorts of things, we have imagined,

All that trouble, means you lose the now,

And there is little, you can do anyhow,

So keep your mind, in the present,

You’ll find life is, much more pleasant,

You’ll start to enjoy, every moment you face,

Rather than, that not being the case,

For you cannot, change the past,

And tomorrow will come, so very fast,

Until you face, a problem in life,

My worry and cause, yourself much strife?

I know this is, not a simple task,

But try to do it, for yourself I ask,

Keep your mind, on the moment in hand,

Forget the past, and make those plans,

But enjoy the time, you are now in,

It’s how in life, we always win.
