Sometimes life, can feel all uphill,
Which tests our strength, and our will,
So many times, we hit dead ends,
And nothing it seems, pays dividends,
Don’t see every loss, as a defeat,
And sink into, an endless retreat,
We all make mistakes, it’s part of the game,
And in this you, should feel no shame,
Look to the lessons, that you gained,
And teach your mind, to be retrained,
You’re stronger than, you think you are,
And a change in mindset, can take you far,
Accept mistakes, we all make them,
Yourself you shouldn’t, ever condemn,
For out of those slips, when we fall,
Where in life you’re lost, and feel so small,
You should know, how many people,
Have come back from, the same upheaval,
They don’t have skills, or special powers,
Just take a deep breath, and put in the hours,
It’s your life, so take control,
Choose a more, positive role,
To be happy inside, and feel complete,
The same mistakes, don’t ever repeat,
You’re in control, you are now in charge,
The good times are, about to converge,
No person or, situation you face,
Can the person you are, ever erase,
You’re a unique individual, simply one of a kind,
And the life you want, starts now in your mind,
For no matter how dark, the clouds may be,
It doesn’t take much, to set yourself free.
