Dear,
I am not sewn
Into this flesh of mine;
I am many things in life.
I am many things in life..
Sometimes, a quiet wind,
Sometimes, a bitter strife..
Perhaps a joy akin
To a clear, roof-top-night,
Or an agony, that of,
Being buried alive.
I am many things in life -
A cloudless day’s bliss;
A shoe, crunching autumn leaves;
I am a lover’s warm kiss,
Amidst a chilling, winter breeze.
I am many things in life..
Though before your angelic guise,
I cease to be anything
But a pair of eyes.
The End.
