Thanks for reading!
I feel like Patrick Bateman would be both pleased at the attention and dismissive of the content of this four-parter haiku. Highly controversial book by a highly controversial author. I really quite enjoyed the book, to be perfectly honest. It's not quite as clever as it thinks, but it does make some interesting points about materialism, and Patrick Bateman is a bad/good narrator - incredibly unreliable.
This is inspired by the awesome unofficial challenge set by Judey Kalchik. You can check out her entry and a whole list of entries in the comments section here:
This is, oddly, my 300th published work on Vocal.

Controversial you say? I gotta read it then hehehe. Loved your Haiku-review!
Cool little book Haikus. I’ve not read Easton-Ellis, but I liked the film, yet haven’t seen it in years!
And could anyone have played him better in the movie?
Congratulations on breaking 300! I enjoyed the haiku(s?) and the poem in the photo, too!
Congrats on 300, my friend. Time for a donut celebration! What time is it there?
Hooray! Was waiting on this, and you did not disappoint. Love the book, and your quadru-haiku. Congrats on 300 stories… and on wine night, too. Cheers. 🍷
