African Resilience

The Black People

African Beauty

In the tapestry of humanity's embrace,

A kaleidoscope of colors interlace,

Amongst them, a rich hue, bold and strong,

Black, a shade from which resilience is drawn.

From ancestral grounds, a legacy unfolds,

Of struggles faced, and stories yet untold,

In the face of adversity, they rise,

Black voices resound, reaching the skies.

With pride, they celebrate their melanin,

A heritage rooted in strength within,

Their souls dance to the rhythm of the night,

Embracing their beauty, radiant and bright.

In ebony skin, a history resides,

Of resilience, triumphs, and battles tied,

From the heart of Africa to distant shores,

They've faced it all, unlocked closed doors.

From poets and writers, their voices have soared,

Painting pictures of struggles once ignored,

Their verses, a mirror of truth unveiled,

Black experiences, profound and unassailed.

In art and music, their talents shine,

Melodies that transcend realms divine,

Through rhythm and beats, their hearts express,

The beauty of blackness, an eternal caress.

They are leaders, warriors, and changemakers,

Building bridges, uniting undertakers,

With wisdom and grace, they pave the way,

For a brighter world, where prejudice will sway.

But let us not define them by their shade,

For black is a color that cannot be weighed,

Their worth is boundless, their potential untold,

For within them exists a spirit bold.

So let us celebrate the black lives we see,

Their journeys, their triumphs, their history,

In unity, we find strength and embrace,

The beauty of blackness, standing with grace.
