a trip to nowhere, hundred mile you see

The summer, that summer I turned fourteen

Away from my mother, first time indeed

The most beautiful place my eyes had seen

Fruit Orchards as far as one's eye could see

This year I grew, I grew a lot indeed

Amongst the beauty, first time in my teens

I learned of power that fills a need

acapella in the sun, bended knee

the power of a thought, thought to be free

my uncle will never know what it means

the power he gave in a memory

The summer, that summer I turned fourteen

The most beautiful place my eyes had seen
