Why is it like this
That I don’t want to miss
A single day with you
With a feeling that is so new
Why is it that you
Who always kind of knew
That we both had a crush
Yet knowing if there will ever be an us
It all comes down to this
That everything we wish
Takes time to come true
No matter how much we want it to
It is always hard to say
If there will ever be a day
That our dreams will meet
And our hearts together will beat.
