Our lives are rooted in technology

We have no room for anything real

It’s just how we live our lives, don’t question

Each day we awake, no time for nature

We take no time to check our mental seal

Our lives are rooted in technology

Humans have no path to truly mature

Inside, never knowing what is real

It’s just how we live our lives, don’t question

Yet outside we open the aperture

Though now, we just slither back like an eel

Our lives are rooted in technology

In truth, it may be too late to save-her

Our race is in an unforgiving wheel

It’s just how we live our lives, don’t question

Time outdoors can try hard to clear this blur

But let’s be real, we've all lost our feel

Our lives are rooted in technology

It’s just how we live our lives, don’t question
