I’ve driven a thousand miles since

You left me.

Still, you don’t care.

When I said “I Love you still”

you only said, “I know.”

Gallons of gas have

gone through my car.

Yet you’re still in my heart.

I try to drive away from the memories,

but they always follow.

They tell me they can take

away my pain.

All I have to do

is crash into them.

But I don’t listen;

It would hurt you too much.

I’ve driven a thousand miles since

you left me.

Sent you flowers too.

I’ve been with other people,

but they weren’t you.

I’ve been to many new sites,

I’ve been to many new places,

and I told myself that I don’t care.

That I don’t Love you.

My friends all know the truth though,

that I’m dying inside.

-Yet, I am over you.

(I still Love you)

I’ve driven a thousand miles since

you left me.

And now I know what to do.

drive a thousand more miles,

and try to find you.
