A Starry Night

A dark mind wants to see the light...

By Ashley JácomePublished 5 years ago 1 min read

A dark mind wants to see the light,

but the crazy is not worthy.

I'm told they will fix my unbalanced mind,

a forced manic state consumes me.

I wish that the blue sky could tell them my story.

The wind hugs me for who I am,

and the stars tell me they see me

even though lives live without me.

Oh Starry night,

the moon is my escape

the light pours into me

and tells me there is an end.

Maybe some day they will see the light,

like I do.
