A Simple Watch

Poem

By K.A. SmithPublished 2 years ago • 1 min read
Ready for the holidays? Enjoy this poem.

A clean face is what

The kind I like.

Faded...

As though tumbled in the dryer,

In the dryer by mistake.

Out! Lifts me higher.

A being...

Touched the same as new jeans hanging

Instore.

I want this...

Admired in eyes, shopping

My wrist for their list,

And a hoarse, and a kiss afterward.

I may get it or not

For being and leaning.

Me,

Being the present under the Christmas tree.

It's what I want, simple as facts.

Good times and watchy like that.

A holidays for me can't wait to be.

You're the only one I want.

And a wish for my pulse,

My honey bump.

Thank you for reading!
