Dear friend, I write to you today

In the form of a poetic display

For words are the tools I use

To express my feelings true and choose

The beauty of life that surrounds

In every moment, it astounds

From the rising sun in the morning light

To the twinkling stars in the dark of night

And in the midst of it all, I see

The wonders of your company

Your laughter, your smile, your embrace

A source of warmth and solace

So here I am, with pen in hand

Writing to you, my dearest friend

To let you know, in every way

That you're in my heart, every single day

And though the distance may seem vast

Our bond will forever last

For true friendship knows no end

And in my heart, you'll always blend
