"A Naive Child"
The Facades We Hold
Sometimes when I am alone
I often think about the feeling of how our parents still believe that we are naive and immature.
Unfamiliar about the harshness of the people and just the world around us.
If only they could hear how deep our conversations are with our friends.
How night takes away our smile and the light of our eyes.
Eyes that shines so bright in the daylight.
The giggling sounds of our laughter.
How we are truly aware of reality.
How often we think and plan our future.
Almost to the fact, where the anxiety takes our breath away.
But at the end of the day, they still can't be blamed for the facades we hold behind, to keep them happy.
Somewhere, it's all a cycle in the end.
