A Mountain

In lands where towering peaks prevail,

An ancient mountain, proud and hale,

Stands tall and steadfast, reaching high,

Kissing the heavens, touching the sky.

Its rocky slopes, so rough and bare,

Cloaked in mist, a mystic lair,

Majestic summit, gleaming with snow,

Where eagles soar and breezes blow.

An ember glows within its core,

A molten heart forevermore,

A dormant fire, fierce and serene,

In awe-inspiring beauty, unseen.

From valleys deep, a murmured prayer,

Echoes through the crisp mountain air,

Where rivers dance, cascading free,

In harmony with nature's decree.

Valiant climbers dare to ascend,

Seeking solace, seeking to mend,

Their souls uplifted, spirits revived,

By this mountain so fiercely alive.

But humbled are those who dare draw near,

To embrace the mountain, conquer their fear,

For nature's forces, they never relent,

Reminding us of our frail lament.

So let us cherish this mighty peak,

And the secrets within that it does keep,

A testament to Earth's grand design,

A mountain, eternal, divine.
