A Message to Eternity
I wonder will eternity listen?

A Message to Eternity
I wrote the words upon a page that trembled,
the ink sinking slowly into fibres like memory,
and the night leaned close as if wanting to listen,
as if time itself sensed the weight of my voice.
There are things only eternity is meant to keep,
stories too heavy for the living to carry,
and I folded each one into the stillness around me,
sending them forward with a whispered trust.
I asked the stars to hold them without judgment,
to remember the pain without letting it rule,
to cradle the hopes that nearly slipped away,
and to return only the strength I had left.
A quiet wind gathered the message from my hands,
lifting the paper into the wide open dark,
where shadows and distance made room for truth,
and no human heart could twist the meaning again.
And somewhere beyond the edge of what we know,
eternity waited with patient unwelcome grace,
ready to keep what was mine and what I feared,
ready to listen long after my voice grew still.
