A Lunar Soul

Who shines brightest for you?

Paralyzed

The body is weak

In turmoil

The mind is meek

Feeling determined

The heart will win

Feeling stuck

A cycle continues

In the shifting vortex

You lie

languidly sleeping

As you wake

Lying idly by

A fire within is unlit

For it feels as you do

Shallow at its core

For something you lack

Without light for one's self

His eyes cannot see you

The exuberant Sun

Burning bright

Searching the darkness

With no one in sight

As she shines

Throughout the night

Wading through the sky

Given form by his light

Her image wounded

Distorting itself

As water ripples

Fearful of change

With nothing left

The water settles

Birthed a new form

Fleeting darkness scuttles

Shining through all blight

Transforming your soul

With passion and might
