They did not care what people said.
Every little difference brought them together.
She mispronounced the words starting with “Th”.
He adored her for it.
He went around turning off lights.
She adored him for it.
She loved trying new things.
His love grew.
He was a meat and potatoes guy.
Her admiration continued.
They did not fight like other couples.
Years have passed.
Now,
She goes around turning off the lights.
He watches foreign films.
She became more stable.
He became more exotic.
They are in love.
The people said opposites attract
But their sameness endures.
