A Long Tranquil River

A Boat-on-the-River Alexandrine

A long tranquil river can only run within

Like a boat on the river with no one aboard

It may be never too late to sail to begin

With a past and a future not fully ignored

Two oars can be helpful, but one may be enough

To turn around till the current selects the track

No matter if the progression is tough or rough

One can see the blues and greens when they appear black

A kind succession of words, a genuine smile

Can fill the boat like water only fit to drink

Only a long tranquil river serves the trial

As life stabs some organs to bring one to the brink

For me, it will always be a woman stirring

Towards a new home away from any blurring

-----

Dedicated to an unknown future and a passed past.
