A Grey Day

Rome

By Elisa CovelloPublished 3 years ago 1 min read

RM: September 2009

A grey day in Rome…

The grey sky hanging over us,

covering the world with a state of confusion.

People moving so quickly and carelessly,

forgetting to see the beauty of life.

A sunrise, a sunset, a starry night,

Or a river flowing gently…

A child playing innocently in the park,

laughing, singing, living,

An embrace, a hug to say goodbye,

Or a tear, running down someone’s face.

Life’s greatest moments, forgotten.

Trapped in a state of confusion,

under a grey sky hanging over us.
