“It is finished”......

These words he last spoke

The chains I carried were no more.

A great darkness covered the face of the Earth.

The children of the soil fell to their faces in fear.

The light has gone out,

What then shall we do now?

We ran for cover as if tomorrow was never on the horizon.

The Earth was shaken, and faith was beaten.

Who then shall save us?

Slowly in our hearts we cried out

Father, Father, turn not thy face from us.

To the gentiles and the daughter of zion,

A greater dawn has emerged,

As the sun kisses the edge of the sky over yonder.

A new day has been born.

Rejoice, again I say rejoice,

For the king has returned.

A beautiful tomorrow, with peace, love, joy and grace.

As the winds of yesterday have passed ,

So must the light of tomorrow bring forth a greater dawn.
