This heart would flutter upon this sight,
Where love would swell and nerves would reach their height,
With a gaze so coy, and her smile so weak,
A tone so soft and an impression so meek,
She scarcely speaks yet I treasure when she breaks her fears,
Despite the toil of the past, the agony of the now, and the future with uncertain tears,
Yet courage would prevail, her heart will neither worry, nor fret,
For a gentle touch would ensure her needs were met,
A firm grip upon her sides and the relaying of humble smile would be her delight,
The pressure of gentle lips upon her forehead and a face reddish bright,
She feels so secure, so safe and sound,
Where two hearts relay, there love would forevermore be bound...
