Bailey
So let me start out with I LOVE ANIMALS, and actually have a ton... even exotics that when I tell people they're like, "Shut up you do not own one of those." Then I have to pull the old phone out to prove it but anyways. Animals, they do no wrong... except Bailey. Don't get me wrong, I love Bay. He is one of my male cats, the oldest one. He is so loving, really a great cuddler and always has to be by me which is great until he's under my feet or when he's meowing non-stop because I won't make eye contact with him or you know do something crazy like sleep in. I have three other cats (and just lost one) and Bailey is the only one that when I adopted him he was declawed. I don't personally declaw my cats... I hate it... but anywho Bailey gets picked on by all my cats because he is so nosey and the others don't like him all up in their faces 24/7 but that doesn't stop Bailey!

Life With Kiya
How this spunky little Dachshund came to me might not seem like a heartwarming story, or might even be considered boring, but it's a sweet story nonetheless. At least, that's what I think. Princess Kiya (pronounced like the car) was born on November 19, 2016, in Cheyenne, Wyoming to a litter of four. She is the second smallest of her litter. Both of her parents are pure-breed dachshunds, though only her father has papers. My boyfriend and I adopted her on January 21, 2017. It was a Saturday night, and she'd just turned nine weeks old that very day; I remember that much.

Tilikum: A Killer Whale with a Killer Attitude
Tilikum was a very well-known captive orca, he really lived up to his killer whale title in his lifetime in captivity. He was born in 1981, and when he was just two years old, he was captured in Iceland. A year later he was moved to a Sealand park in British Columbia. Tilikum died in early 2017, aged just 36 which is under half a killer whale's typical lifespan in the wild. However, this is pretty normal for captive whales as the average age of death for orcas at SeaWorld is just 13.

For the Love of Pitbulls
I grew up in an awesome home with a wonderful mother, who above all else taught me compassion for others. Over time this gradually turned into an obsession with fighting for the "underdog" in any situation. I grew up with nine dogs that belonged to our family and anywhere up to 6 rescued dogs we were finding homes for , at any given time. I learned the importance of structure and socialization when raising and rehabilitating dogs at a very young age. Also I learned to control my emotions when dealing with dogs, because they are easily affected by us, and it rarely manifests as anything but issues. These skills served me well as an adult. I grew to own a very successful pet spa that catered mostly to nervous dogs, but more so, their nervous people.
