1. Approach and take him somewhere

2. Block the view with his favorite food

When the dog barks in the yard area, invite him inside and close the curtains so he doesn't bark again. Then, you can bring him his favorites food. Give it to him in between when he stops barking.

Put delicious food on his nose. This is to show appreciation when he is quiet. Repeat this until he is c ompletely calm.

3. Establish a routine to tire the dog out

If your dog is scheduled to have a certain routine, whether it's jogging, playing soccer, or even surfing, it will help him from barking.

He will get bored and feel tired if he has to bark. This is because he is already physically and energitically exhausted from other activities. However, this depends on the age and health of the dog.

4. Take time to play

Dogs bark as a means of communication between them, but there are also signs that they area looking for their owner's attention. If it sees you going somewhere, it will keep barking. That indicates boredom.

After you leave, invite him to play. Because after all, dogs are emotional. They need to be cared for. Take him for a walk or leave some toys for him.
